You might as well learn the fancier one, right? This machine also makes many things easier, such as bobbin winding, thread cutting, needle positioning, etc. Plus, you could add embroidery to your work, which would make a big statement. In any case, don't pay more than $350 for it!! Some places sell it for $600, and you can find it much cheaper online. :)Kelseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07679844664166206387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4300905571560693667.post-54873914426713595282011-03-08T07:23:31.007-08:002011-03-08T07:23:31.007-08:00K.....I've been eyeing this very machine mysel...K.....I've been eyeing this very machine myself for some time. I'm thinking I could do much more with my work if I had such a machine, rather than doing EVERYTHING by hand, but it is daunting and I'm with you....I'm not so patient enough and savvy enough to learn from a manual. Not ever having had a sewing machine of my own (much less spent any time at all to speak of sewing on one), I wonder if I shouldn't start with something I can just take out of the box and go to town on. Any thoughts? Good luck with getting going on this new venture...you'll get there!Missouri Bend Paper Workshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18153989891514458384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4300905571560693667.post-67666723119547389772011-03-06T20:14:23.098-08:002011-03-06T20:14:23.098-08:00Thanks you two! I can't wait until I know how to use it and I can put it to good use, but the learning process is frustrating. I hate directions! lolKelseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07679844664166206387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4300905571560693667.post-80050386007000951572011-03-06T20:08:45.427-08:002011-03-06T20:08:45.427-08:00Since I started working full-time it's been ha...Since I started working full-time it's been hard to come home with lots of motivation to sew. I'm usually so tired after a long day. I'm still so impressed that you're doing embroidery.
